1959 International Harvester Metro A120 Van Additional Info:
1959 IH Metro A120 Delivery Van. If you like patina, this will do it for you! The motor will run and has a rebuilt carburetor. The fuel in the tank has been in there for years, but it still fires. The brakes need work so it is not drivable, but the emergency brake does work. I drove it to where it sits out of my driveway to the back yard. The transmission shifts into all the gears. There is NO BATTERY with the truck. I have one here if you are in person and want to see it crank over. The floor is solid. It has a wooden floor with steel over it. The rust is likely normal for this age truck. It is mainly down low below the door openings and on the RH body panel. It has all the original keys. It seems complete. Someone put carpet inside years ago. The tires are 10 ply and were new 9 years ago, and the spare has never been on the ground. The driver's windshield half has a half moon crack along the bottom. The step ups into the truck are solid. I have a couple of bucket seats from a GM truck that come with it, but one is dark blue, the other gray. It has a few corner hits on it after it's 58 years, kinda like me. The RH side panel has a vertical crease from something getting against it many moons ago. Overall a pretty good truck to build. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will be happy to be available for your shipper. It will fit on an 18 FT car trailer. Please note it is listed for sale locally. Have fun looking and bidding! SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS.
