1993 Honda Del Sol Additional Info:
This is a well-loved car that I would invest further money into should it not be my only means of transportation in a 4wd-preferred winter environment.
First, the upside: While the car body has approximately 255k miles on it, the engine was replaced a few years ago and has accumulated roughly 60k miles. At the same time, it had a paint job and general exterior spruce-up. And of course, the top can be manually removed and stored in the trunk, making for fun good-weather drives.
Now, the downside: The car recently blew a head gasket, with repairs estimated at $700, though the silver lining to that scenario is that it's already stationed on the lot of a very fair and thorough mechanic (Bergeron Automotive), so the job could be completed on site. As tends to be the case with the Honda del sol model, there is some rust on the body around the driver's side back tire; minimally on the passenger side (all photographed). The speedometer needs fixing, and the apparatus for adjusting the heat/AC should be repaired, unless you don't mind it coming out on two settings. I, personally, did not, but I mention this in full transparency. And, recently discovered that the trunk latch is stuck, which should be aminor fix, but again...
