1991 Honda Beat PP1 Additional Info:
1991 HONDA BEAT MID ENGINE 656CC KEI CAR IMPORTED FROM JAPAN WITH CLEAR GEORGIA TITLE. TITLE CAN BE TRANSFERRED AND REGISTERED IN ALL STATES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CA. THE BEAT WAS A LIMITED PRODUCTION CAR SOLD ONLY IN JAPAN IN THE RIGHT HAND DRIVE FORMAT AND HAS ONLY BEEN LEGAL FOR IMPORT INTO THE USA FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS. THERE ARE A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF BEATS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPORTED TO THE US.THIS HONDA BEAT IS A FINE EXAMPLE OF A WELL PRESERVED CLASSIC THAT WILL TURN HEADS AND EXCITE YOU AT EVERY REV.THIS CAR HAS BEEN MY DAILY DRIVER FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS. MECHANICALLY, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE BEAT IS VERY STABLE AND COMFORTABLE. THE STEERING IS VERY TIGHT AND THE CAR HANDLES AMAZING.THIS BEAT MAINTAINS ALL ITS FACTORY FEATURES AND HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED. THE FACTORY STEREO AND TAPE PLAYER ARE FUNCTIONAL. THE JAPANESE FM STATION OPERATE ON LOWER FREQUENCIES SO YOU CANNOT TUNE IN US FREQUENCIES. THE CAR HAS AIR CONDITION AND POWER WINDOWS AS WELL. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL WITH NO LEAKS AND IN GREAT SHAPE. THE REAR WINDOW HAS SOME FADING BUT ZIPS OUT EASILY FOR REPLACEMENT. WE HAVE HAD NEW PLASTIC SEWN IN AT BOAT SHOPS IN THE PAST FOR AROUND $70. THIS BEAT ALSO FEATURES A DRIVERS SIDE AIR BAG WHICH IS A VERY RARE OPTION. IT WAS OFFERED AS A FACTORY OPTION ON THE BEAT, HOWEVER LESS THAN 1 IN 10 BEATS ACTUALLY HAVE AN AIR BAG. THIS VEHICLE, AS WITH MANY JAPANESE IMPORTS, HAS VERY LOW MILAGE. ALOT OF PEOPLE WONDER OR QUESTION WHY THIS IS SO WE ALWAYS EXPLAIN IT UP FRONT SO IT MAKES SENSE FOR YOU. THERE ARE A FEW REASONS.1.THE MAJORITY OF JAPANESE CITIZENS USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DURING THE WEEK FOR COMMUTING TO AND FROM WORK AND DRIVE THEIR VEHICLES FOR PERSONAL USE AND ON THE WEEKEND. THIS IS BECAUSE THE COUNTRY IS SO DENSLY POPULATED AND THE INFRASTRUCTURE CAN NOT HANDLE THE TRAFFIC.2.IN LINE WITH REASON 1, BECAUSE THE POPULATION IS SO DENSE, PEOPLE DO NOT NEED TO TRAVEL FAR FOR SERVICES, SHOPPING ETC ETC. UNLIKE IN THE US, JAPANESE WOULD NOT TRAVEL BY CAR 350 MILES ON VACATION. THEY WOULD GENERALLY TAKE A BULLET TRAIN.I HAVE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL FOR THE BEAT. THE TIMING BELT HAS BEEN CHANGED AS WELL. THE SPEEDOMOTER/ODOMETER WAS REPLACED AT 73700 MILES(118,700km). THAT IS DOCUMENTED ON THE JAPANESE OFFICIAL DEREGISTRATION DOCUMENT AND WILL BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST. 88,438 Miles (142,327km) IS THE CURRENT AND ACCURATE MILLAGE.THE BEAT HAS THE ORIGINAL FACTORY WHEELS ALSO. MANY OF THE BEATS IMPORTED SHOW UP WITH AFTERMARKET WHEELS THUS TAKING AWAY FROM THEIR ORIGINAL FACTORY SPECS.I WILL ADD MORE INFORMATION TO THE LISTING AS I THINK OF IT OR AS QUESTIONS GET ASKED.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU LIKE, I AM HAPPY TO ANSWER ALL :)
