1976 Honda CB 750 A funny thing happened during the filming of the movie "Easy Rider". All 3 stuntmen who rode the bike wrecked it. This was due to the forks being so large the bike was basically unmanageable. Another interesting fun fact is the original bike has gone missing with not a clue as to its whereabouts. There are replicas in museums, but the original has yet to be located. For consignment an "Old School" chopper build that is a very manageable rider due to several factors. Starting with its big bones in an Amen frame from California. This frame is known for its quality and geometry to make choppers more stable. It has a "Savior" rear portion to the frame so called due to the use of both compression and rebound springs, thus "saving" your back! This frame coupled with a Fury springer front end that makes steering and handling, as well as negotiating sharp turns a breeze. On top of the frame is a custom waterfall seat with a tri bar sissy bar which also holds the rear fender to the bike. On the very back is a whimsical and fully functioning tail light fashioned from an old railroad lantern. The rear hog wheel allows for a bit wider rear wheel, (tastefully done as compared to the large "clown" wheels of today's builds). Between the seat and the handlebars is a Mustang tank with a custom chromed gas cap and some pinstriping. The tank and frame are bathed in Chrysler blue. Handlebars on top of that and the Fury forks, a perfectly raked setup, are nicely curved to set the hands. They also have a nifty flame teardrop mirror to aid in seeing what you just blew by. A squeeze horn and simple sweep speedo in the center just above the tank allows you to see when you can easily hit 100mph. Drivetrain A stock 736cc Honda 4 cylinder engine is nicely chromed and has been meticulously maintained. It is fed by 4 28mm Keihin Carbs that have an air box to increase their efficiency. Dual exhausts are protruding from the front of the engine, and show nicely chromed tubes gracefully undulating towards the rear of the bike. It is a chain drive, (again old school), and has a 5-speed transmission. Some chromed diamond plate has been used for the key ignition mount as well as the custom air box before the carbs. Front disc brakes and a rear drum are noted. Right out of 1970's look, this mid 90's built throwback has all the right stuff with the frame, tastefully perfectly raked forks and comfy seat. It's a rider's rider and has some serious get up and go if you have the chutzpah to hold on and relax behind that rake.
