1994 Honda Civic EX Automatic - lowered, custom wheels, custom intake. Power windows, power door locks, good battery (cranks fine in cold weather). Power sliding sun roof works and doesn't leak. Tires are about 1 year old with a lot of good tread left. Heat works very well, A.C. works and is cold in the summer. Cloth interior is in decent shape, but has it's share of stains and wear and tear. This has been my daily driver for the last 5 years. It's been very dependable, and I can't think of any major repairs. The only repair that I think I've had to do was a new alternator. That's all that comes to mind besides brakes, battery etc. Brakes work well and rotors are smooth. Alignment is good. I bought a truck that I've been working on and just kept this for a backup vehicle. Simply don't need it anymore. Great mileage on the interstate and in-town. I bought this after my Honda Accord died.....and just wanted another dependable Honda. Has passed inspections every time since I got it. I didn't really care about all the extras under the hood or the lowered chassis. I just used it as a dependable A to B car.....and it has served me very well. I bought it from a friend. That friend had bought it from a guy that worked at a Honda dealership and was the one that put the extras on it.
The pictures pretty much tell the story, but here are any negatives, in order to save us time and a trip:
It's missing a trim piece on the driver's side windshield.
Windshield has a crack in it right in front of the steering wheel. This was there when I bought it, and has not given me any problems.
Exhaust has a slight gap in it under the car. I never bothered to fix this since it didn't affect the performance of the vehicle. This happened when I tried to load it on a trailer after a tire was punctured on the road (all tires were replaced with new ones after this).
There are some rust spots over the rear wheel wells as evidenced by the pictures.
Driver's side rear door has to be opened from the inside.
Paint is in decent shape, but the hood could use replacing, or painting if desired.
Gas light doesn't work (Gas gauge does), but as long as you get fuel when it's close to the "E" or on it, you'll be fine.
There are dents, as evidenced by the pictures.
No radio/CD player face, but when I did have one it worked. The passenger side speaker grill is missing.
Fuel door doesn't lock closed.
No spare tire since the tires and wheels are custom.
All in all, it could use some cosmetic love, but it's been VERY dependable.
