This is an extremely rare find! Most likely the only one anywhere of it’s kind, especially in this condition. This is a 1986 Honda Civic Wagon sometimes referred to as the “Wagovan” by enthusiasts. This is the 3rd generation of civics made. This car was manufactured in the Saitama Factory in Sayama Japan. It’s a 1 owner vehicle, it was owned and babied by my grandmother who passed away many years ago and the car just sat since then not getting the attention it deserved until this year when I started a complete top to bottom restoration. I will list everything I’ve done to it, i have receipts and paper trails. The extremely low mileage makes this even more rare and sought after, most of these are over 350k miles or rusted out in a junk yard and not running. This one was always garaged, lived in Arizona its whole life in a small city with perfect climate conditions to preserve its body, frame and original paint. There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle. It has a clean Carfax documenting the mileage is accurate with a few maintenance records (included with purchase), no accident history (it was never in so much as a fender bender), and was perfectly maintained before it sat in a garage prior to being restored by me. This car has a new lease on life and is ready to go to another 200,000 miles easily. It’s a Honda after all. I want someone who will appreciate and cherish this unique piece of history to buy it, it needs a new home where it will get the use it deserves.
Excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition for its age. Some minor cosmetic blemishes are to be expected. All minor given age. It’s in fantastic condition and drives and runs great. Interior is excellent & extremely clean! Non smoker car, no pets ever. The paint is actually the original paint and was recently buffed and polished back to full health. The body is in wonderful condition, only negligible minor cosmetic blemishes such as a few light hail bumps on the hood that can only be seen at certain angles and could be removed inexpensively by a paintless dent repair man. Also the windshield has a crack in it, I haven’t replaced it yet but it’s around $200-250 for a proper replacement. It’s missing the front and back Honda emblems but you can track them down on eBay to make it complete. This Civic is FAR above average for its age and mechanically has been completely overhauled, but everything was kept OEM. No aftermarket upgrades or changes other than the stereo face to give it that modern convenience. It’s all stock. Overall condition is 9/10. All factory recommended and preventative maintenance was always done on time or early. Has only 84K extremely low miles, about to roll over to 85k - that’s not even remotely broken in for a maintained Civic of any age, this one is ready to go many more years. Only used synthetic oil since new, this car is worry free and priced BELOW its market value given how rare, complete, restored, well cared for and low mileage it is. It’s reliable, super clean and everything works perfectly, zero mechanical issues. Beautiful car. This car was loved. Just finally time for a new owner!
- 12 Valve 4 Cylinder | 76 Horsepower 1.5L 3BL engine (84K LOW miles - Routinely Maintained)
Wagon (Wagovan) model with upgraded Sony stereo face with CD/AM/FM/AUX, 35% legal tint all the way around, manual locks, windows, mirrors. This is not the AWD model, it’s a front wheel drive car. The engine and transmission are original and in excellent running condition.
- 4 brand new tires. Everything listed below has just been replaced with brand new parts and done in the last 6 weeks: Motor mounts, spark plugs (properly gapped), ignition coil, cap & rotor, battery, oil and gas cap seals, radiator cap, fuel filters, both V belts (serpentine and power steering belts), engine air filter (carburetor filter), brake fluid, coolant, oil, transmission fluid. Any worn hoses were replaced. Any worn fuses were replaced. A/C system converted from R12 to 134 and was recharged, AC is ice cold. The gas tank was dropped, cleaned out and filled with fresh fuel. Fuel lines were replaced. The muffler was looked over and the tip was replaced by a professional muffler shop. It had a comprehensive and complete valve job done involving taking off the engine head and machining it and replacing all valves and cleaning the engine while replacing anything worn out from age. Front seats were reupholstered due to a few minor tears and car was detailed. Carburetor was cleaned and adjusted. I have photos and documentation for everything.
- Has 1 original key currently, making spares are dirt cheap for this car since there is no computer chip in the key.
- Ice Cold A/C + HOT heater
- Emissions current, can also be registered and insured as a classic vehicle with Hagerty Insurance company in order to register it as emissions exempt if desired. Many places don’t even require emissions, but the car does and will pass emissions.
- NO check lights at all
- New windshield wipers
- Spare tire, jack, and tools included.
- 40 MPG highway which is amazing for the age of the vehicle
- Clean AZ title
