I am selling my 1993 Honda Civic EX coupe. It is a very clean car for its age, and has had a ton of work done to it. I have paperwork for literally thousands of dollars in maintenance, parts, etc, plus many hours of my own labor into the car. It currently runs, drives and stops as it should. It holds a clean and clear Ohio title, but does show a mileage discrepancy due to the instrument cluster being changed some time ago. Listed below are some of the things done to the car, but in no way is the list all inclusive, there is literally just too much to list.
Body/chassis:
1993 EX, only year for no passenger side airbag.
Professionally repainted (primer/base/clear) Midori Green Pearl. Door jams, doors, and engine bay painted to match. Very solid underneath.
Wireworx full tuck harness
Taylor aluminum battery box and proper Taylor battery relocation ground/power wires
New battery
Fiber Images carbon fiber OEM style hood, speed latches
Engine bay shaved
Brake lines tucked, stainless lines used
Brake master tucked
New fuel tank, AN fuel lines, Walbro fuel pump, Weldon-AN filter
SpecD glass black housing headlights, smoked amber corners
OEM style fog lights, PWJDM carbon fiber bezels
Rare OEM wing
Lip, tint, antenna blockoff, side marker lights, etc
Suspension/Steering/Brakes:
Apexi N1 full coil overs, car can go MUCH lower than pictured. Set up for transport now.
Brand new upper control arms, OE type
Avid Racing front traction bar kit
New manual steering rack
BWR rear subframe brace, matching lower control arms
Brand new Honda OEM brake master cylinder, front brake calipers, front brake pads and rotors
Brand new tires (Continental and Kumho) on 16” Spun Supermesh wheels, locking lugs
All new brake and fuel lines, as stated before.
Engine/Transmission/Exhaust:
The car is currently running a d16z6 engine and transmission, the correct engine and transmission for it. However, the engine and transmission are not original, the block has been purchased rebuilt and the head and transmission were sourced from other vehicles. The following parts have 3 actual miles of road time on them:
Cylinder head bolts, OE head gasket, valve cover gasket, intake manifold and throttle body gaskets
Continental timing kit, including Contitech timing belt, Koyo tensioner, GMB water pump
Denso spark plug wires, NGK plugs
All fluids and Mobil1 filter
Both drive axles (Duralast Gold)
Stage 2 carbon kevlar clutch, pressure plate, release bearing
OE type flywheel and pilot bearing
New clutch slave and master cylinders (Honda s2000), stainless braided line
All coolant hoses replaced with silicone hoses, new Gates thermostat, new 2” aluminum radiator, tucked slim fan
Skunk2 racing vtec solenoid
Shift linkage rebuilt with Energy Suspension components, B&M shifter, weighted ball knob
DC Sports stainless steel 4-1 header (not brand new)
PWJDM carbon fiber air intake
Greddy Ti-C 2.5 inch full exhaust
Interior:
Clean, non smoker black cloth interior. New carpet.
JDM OEM armrest
3D printed HVAC control delete plate
Sony headunit with USB/AUX, all 4 Alpine speakers
Power mirrors, sunroof, locks
Acura Integra GSR leather wrapped steering wheel
Car is wired for an amplifier, with Monster RCA cables. 2 10” Kenwood subwoofers are included.
The car will come with a bunch of extra/spare parts, including a custom made catch can with AN lines, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator with gauge and AN lines, NRG hood struts, NRG harness bar, and a lot more. I have approximately $10,000 (TEN thousand) in receipts for this car, NOT counting paint and body, hood, much of the suspension, or any of the labor assembling the new drivetrain. I realize that you never get what you put into a build back, nor do I expect to… someone is going to get one hell of a deal.
As you can see, this car is a well put together, clean example of a 1993 Honda Civic. You can enjoy it as it is, or continue to modify it for more power… the choice is yours. You just don’t find them this nice anymore. Unfortunately for me, I am losing one of my indoor storage spaces for vehicles, so this one has got to go. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have before bidding, as I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. That being said, please DO NOT bid if you do not intend to pay. If the bid does not surpass $4500, the car will be sold on steel wheels. I am happy to help with shipping in any way I can, please let me know in advance what you may need. Thanks, good luck and happy bidding. . Windshield molding missing from pictures IS installed***
Please do not hesitate to ask for more pictures, etc. I have pictures of the engine build, detailed pictures of the suspension and brakes, etc.
