1971 GMC Sprint Chevy El Camino Frame-Off
I am selling my 1971 GMC Sprint (badge-engineered Chevy El Camino)
I embarked on this project in 2014 but have decided to stop investing time and money into this car as I have too many other priorities. 95% finished and 98% complete. If you add up the list you will see it adds up to more than my asking price. Being unfinished, the car has ZERO MILES since the work was completed. You definitely can’t build one to this point for close to my price. Realistically, this truck is around $1000 in parts and some elbow grease away from being street ready. My loss, your gain.
The truck was restored frame-off. Body was sprayed in BMW Interlagos Blue. Frame was sprayed OEM style chassis black.
The original goal was a ”budget project” with carefully chosen high-quality components.
The following items are installed/included but this has been a pretty extensive build so I am sure some items are missing:
· 350 SBC with hi-performance heads, mild cam, Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock Carb
· TH350 Transmission
· GM Serpentine pulley system with 150 amp alternator
· Long-tube headers
· Custom A/C setup (complete and installed, but needs to be charged)
· AGR Variable Ratio Steering box
· 13” The Right Stuff brake kit front
· New brake shoes/refurbished drums rear
· Factory 12-bolt (open diff)
· Eibach lowering springs
· Tubular upper a-arms
· Boxed rear upper control arms
· New Tokico shocks all around
· 20” US Mags 20x8 front 20x9.5 rear
· Falken 245/40R20 front 275/35R20 rear

· Dynamat entire cab (real Dynamat not cheap imitation or home insulation)
· Color-matched sprayed bedliner
· Tachometer Kit in factory clock location (looks oem)
· Grant Steering Wheel
· All new exterior trim, moldings and badges
