1972 GMC Other Sprint SP 350 Custom Additional Info:
Rare!
One of 635 made.
1972 GMC Sprint “SP-350” “Special Performance" Package.
Factory 350ci V8 Runs Great.
Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor and a nice “lumpy“ sounding cam. Runs very strong.
One of the rarest and most unique factory muscle cars of all time.
Factory tach and Gauges.
Factory 12 bolt Rear End.
Front and rear sway bars.
Front disc brakes.
Cowl hood.
Although the custom “Blackberry Metallic“ paint does look nice... To be clear… This is it an older paint job and is not perfect or show quality. It has the blems, nicks and chips that you would expect on a survivor. The good news is that it is remarkably straight and has no advanced rust issues anywhere on the car. We have had this car up on a hoist and looked it over very thoroughly and it is solid it throughout. (See pictures.)
Otherwise here are the particulars:
Clean title.
VIN: 5D80J2L501072
Odometer reading: 81482
Like all of our vehicles 10 years and older it is being sold as “Miles Exempt”.
All glass is good.
Nice set of factory “Corvette Rally“ style wheels with a set of matching BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. They have about 60% tread life left. But they are older and weather checked so it will probably need some tires before you take it on any long trips.
I have tried to take some extra pics of this one from every angle. Both quarters are in excellent shape. Straight and solid.
All body lines nice. Straight and clean. You can get a good idea of how amazingly straight it is by looking down the sides in these pictures.
Interior is in nice shape as well.
The dash pad has some cracks in it and it comes with a dash cover. A new dash pad only runs about $300 for these. And as nice as this car is, it really should get a new one.
Factory tach and gauges all look good.
There is a seam that is separated on the driver side bottom cushion, but otherwise the seat is in nice shape.
Original carpeting and headliner are both in usable shape, but really should be replaced before too long.
Please note: We can actually arrange these things through our shop and get the buyer our wholesale rate on the parts and labor to have all these things done at our wholesale cost.
Nice car. Just needs a good new home.
