1987 GMC Sierra 1500 Additional Info:

This 1987 GMC R1500 Sierra Short bed pick-up was acquired by the seller in March 2024 and was an un-finished project. I subsequent began to finish it correctly. The exterior was repainted and spray in bed liner was done by the previous owner in 2023All new front components including drop spindles, shocks, steering tie rod ends and ball joints. Powerstop brakes and drilled rotors were added, new brake lines, power booster, and master cylinder was also replaced.Engine was replaced with a fresh rebuilt Vortec 5.7 V-8, Aluminum air gap intake, Edelbrock carburetor, HEI distributor, long tube headers, serpentine drive belt system, as well an aluminum radiator with duel electric fan set up. Air conditioning was upgraded with new compressor, lines and charged with R134 gasThe 700R4 Transmission has been completely rebuilt and is fitted with a Bowler Performance down cable and carburetor linkage system.Exhaust is new from front to back including mufflers. Interior is a complete redo, new headliner, new carpet, bench seat reupholstered,seat belts, dash pad, door cards, handles, dash plate with Dakota Digital gauges and new Auto Sound AM/FM factory correct looking stereo with 4-speakers.Wheels are 20" Riddler brand with new 295/40 Landsail on the front and 255/50 Goodyear on rear.I have put 2,500 miles on this truck since completion and now it's ready to pass it on.
