1972 GMC Other Super Custom Additional Info:
This is the kind of truck to get excited about. This 1972 GMC C1500 Super Custom pickup has a great stance, cool-two-tone, plenty of chrome, an A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and an overdrive transmission. Oh yeah, there's also a fuel-injected LS2 V8 that's putting some serious muscle on the street.
You can tell there was a big restoration investment in this truck. It has a terrific two-tone that loves to radiate in the sunlight. It has a true premium presentation with the trim separating the white and blue along the profile. And this same trim really helps to highlight the straightness of the sheetmetal. And while this gives the truck a classic style, you also know it wants modern attention, too. The chrome grille shines a bit brighter; the lowered stance seems a bit meaner; and those sport tires on the large 18-inch American Racing alloys are pure intimidation. It's truly a thoughtful total package made to let you know there's something special under the hood. But even with all these more modern upgrades, they still made sure to give you the proper real lumber for the vintage truck bed.
The interior continues the truck's fresh look and two-tone appeal. This has some great classic GM truck pieces like the western-style pattern in the door panels and houndstooth cloth inserts in the seats. But as you take a closer look, you can see this was done for more modern comfort. The seat has nicer bolstering for better all-day appeal, the carpeting is plush, the retro radio is a modern AM/FM digital tuner, and there's a full Vintage Air air conditioning system. The wood-rimmed sports steering wheel is mounted on an upgraded chrome tilt column, and this gives you a clear view to the full gauge package, including centrally mounted tach.
Just like the rest of the truck, the engine bay is fully ready to show off. Slick inner walls finished in the exterior's creamy white have a premium style, and a big investment in polished components give this a ton of flair. At the center is GM's excellent 6.0-liter LS2 V8. While most of us would already be hooked just because of the modern motor, this one goes further with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel-injection system to let the LS2 inhale with added power. And the headers let this exhale with even more power and authority as it feeds the H-pipe dual exhaust. You'll even spot all the right supporting components, like a serpentine belt system, Optima battery, and aluminum radiator w/electric fans. It makes for both a powerful and useful package. That's why you have other modern upgrades, like a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood master cylinder.
This is a fantastically fresh build, right down to the undercarriage photos. So while most of us are just impressed because we don't see too many GMCs, this fuel-injected Super Custom really takes it into or wildest dreams. Call today!!!
