1974 GMC Other Additional Info:
1974 26' GMC Eleganza in fair conditionI bought this coach 4-5 years ago as a restoration project, and I still haven't gotten to it.Sticker on dash states engine was replaced at 80,000 miles. Engine and drive train works well. I have not tested any systems. The only thing I tested was I plugged the coach in and tested the roof AC when I bought the coach 4 years ago. Roof AC was working then. There are several issues:1. There is water damage in a few spots. (damage highlighted by yellow circles in photos).2. The carpet is heavily stained.3. There are small issues on the body exterior.4. there is a crack in the plastic on the bathroom sink (highlighted by yellow circle in photo.5. I have not tested any systems6. Cloth upholstery is ready to be replaced.7. Gas gauge not working8. Auto air not working9. Gen set definitely needs a new muffler. (haven't started)10. auto radio not working.11. Captain's chairs are not original and are a bit tatty.I believe this coach would make an excellent restoration candidate. Everything is there. Cabinets are in pretty good shape. I put new rear tires on when I bought it, and they are still in great shape. Front tires are ok, but passenger side is starting to show signs of cracking. Coach drives well. I had the carburetor rebuilt. I had a new sending unit installed into the front fuel tank, but the gas gauge still doesn't work (wiring?).
