1974 GMC Sierra 1500 Additional Info:
1974 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 K-10 shortbed half ton pickup. Goodwrench crate/replacement 350 engine with muncie sm 465 4 speed transmission. Np205 transfer case, 10 bolt front axle with front locking hubs. 12 bolt limited slip rear axle. Clear California title. Frame has been boxed and plated at the steering box where they are notorious for breaking. No idea when engine was replaced but obviously at sometime since it is a goodwrench motor. Runs great, transmission and 4wd work as should. Could be driven as is but truck needs work. Truck has rust and the body has many dents and imperfections, however all can be fixed. Cab has rust in floors and cab corners. The floors are not bad and just have pinholes, the rear corners have more rust. Front fenders have rust as well. I have the rear cab corner patch panels and front fender patches to fix the rust if desired, but most sheet metal is relatively inexpensive new (fenders). I have a stepside bed that that is in 9/10 condition (zero rust, one or two dents, fully assembled and complete) and a fleetside bed that only has surface rust and some warpage on passenger side due to a grass fire next to it. Can be included in the sale and transport at an additional $400 per bed. Truck is located in Northern California (Sacramento) very close to the Sacramento International Airport. Buyer is responsible for transportation of the truck, and a $500.00 non refundable deposit is due at end of auction. Inspections are welcome, but must be made prior to auction sale ending. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 916-207-3964. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the truck and am available to show anytime. This truck is 95% complete, but needs full restoration to get back to what she was 45 years ago. Again has rust, dents, and needs alot of love but it is a vehicle that you can go have fun in the mud the second it gets off the trailer, or drive through town once registered if you like the look. Running and driving project truck.
