1968 GMC Sierra 1500 V8 Custom Additional Info:
1968 GMC 1500 truck for sale, solid body, rust ate a hole at back corner of cab on passenger side and the rear cab support has rusted away at the left and right ends (see pictures for details). This is repairable, the rear cab support is $150 and the corner cab patch panel is $50 on LMCtruck.com website.
This a great solid truck, u can just drive it the way it is with its "patina" or u can do paint & body and make it shine again. The interior looks orange, but I think it was originally red because orange interior parts aren't available, but red parts are, and the seat belt buckler looks red.
I was told by the son of the original owner, that the engine was rebuilt and it looks like it was rebuilt. I bought this from the son who had inherited it. He said he wants to see this truck back on the road. It sat at in the driveway for the past several years and that's why the engine is so dusty looking. The truck is a Utah truck with a Utah title, but has been in Vegas for years.
The rocker and doors look solid, only surface rust. I would recommend replacing the front right fender obviously because of its condition.
The interior looks decent, it has gauges instead of idiot lights, manual brakes, manual steering, and manual 4-speed transmission.
This truck doesn't look like it's been messed with or modified, it's pretty original.
