1947 GMC P/U Truck Additional Info:

Early 1947 GMC heavy half ton,stake-side truck, has 235 ci engine and 4 speed transmission.- All body parts are original with no rust at all.- New clutch and pressure plate installed.-All driveshaft u joints replaced.-Running gear, steering and suspension is original and tight.-Original6 volt system was convertedto 12 volt.-Woodwork for the stake-side and deck is eastern maple hardwood redone to original.- All glass and rubber mouldings replaced.-Body bolts &nuts are replaced with stainless steel.- $60,000.00 plus was invested in this truck since I purchased in 1982. - This truck is mint inside and out. Everything possible was replaced to new condition.- A trailer hitch was installed with bolts and can be removed easily.-Latest body-off restorationcompleted in 2012.- If interested I have more pictures of the truck from restoration stage.
