1947 GMC SHORT BED PICKUP
GMC (General Motors Truck Company) is a division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors (GM) that primarily focuses on trucks and utility vehicles. It was founded in 1911. In 1947 New Design Series of Light-duty Trucks were launched. They had little difference with the Chevrolet Advance-Design trucks.
This 1947 GMC Pickup has a clear Arizona title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.
This is a very rare truck. It has spent most of its life in Arizona’s dry western climate. The odometer shows 6,972 miles but the title doesn’t have any information about the mileage because of the age of the car.
Mechanical
This truck runs, drives and stops great. It has 228 ci. 6 cylinder engine. Manual transmission and clutch work great. 3 speed on the floor, 355 gear. Tires are in good driving condition.
Recent work was done on brakes, clutch, 12 volt conversion and windshield wipers. It's a beautiful driver.
Exterior
Great exterior with nice color combination. Nice and shiny chrome and bumpers. Side mounts and the bed are in great condition. All exterior lights work as they should. The engine bay is very clean and complete. All glass is great. Original wheels and hubcaps are in nice shape.
Interior
Nice interior design with comfortable seat. Clean and complete dash with working gaudes. Great door panels and headliner.
