1987 GMC K1500 4x4 V1500 Sierra Classic Additional Info:
1987 GMC 4x4. Short bed. 350 motor. Overdrive trans(didn't come with overdrive but has one now). Many replaced/updated parts. Cold air. New dash pad. Less than 500 miles on BF Goodrich AT tires. Dual Gas Tanks (Left side is new). Paint is good but has a couple pecks here and there. Few minor scratches/dings. Interior is nice. Power windows/locks. Runs great. At 65-70 mph, you can let go of wheel with no shakes or pulls. No engine/trans/rear-end leaks. 4wd works fine. Has new radiator and AC condenser. I had torque converter replaced. When I bought a few years ago, I took FloMaster off and put regular muffler and pipe. New shocks all the way around. Warn hubs.
It is a 30 year old truck. It does have some flaws. It is not a show truck. It is just a solid, great running pickup. Here are a few I know of that is wrong: It doesn't have a door key. The steering sector under the hood has a leak. Probably needs a new belt(after a/c was fixed, belt squealed and a shop tightened it but said I should probably replace it). The latch on the sliding back glass is broke and I can't seem to keep one on it without plastic latch breaking. At very low speed with window down, I can hear a "whomp whomp" noise on the left front(someone told me probably a wheel bearing). There are a few paint chips and couple of small dings in hood.
I've told you all I can think of about the truck.
