1964 Ford Mustang Convertible Additional Info:
This is a true 64 1/2 Guardsman Blue, 260, automatic, medium blue interior, white top, power steering, Mustang convertible. It is registered to me, so no games. In RI they only give a registration before 2001, NO TITLE, only current registration. ***This car needs COMPLETE restoration, including the metal dashboard, there are huge holes in the floors, quarters. If you need to ask does it need..., the answer is "YES", I do believe the passenger side front rail is good, the driver and passenger side rear engine compartment panels, the 1964 radiator support and some other misc. pieces. It is missing the hood, trunk lid, fenders, etc. I do have the convertible top frame, front seats, rear lower seat, tail lights, grill and rear quarter extensions. The wiring is all there except for a few pieces in the engine compartment. Supposedly, it is the original 260 engine, though I have always questioned it seeing that it is blue and says " FORD" on the valve covers and anyone who knows Mustangs, knows these engines where black with gold valve covers, I have not got that far into it. Again, needs total restoration, but it is a true V8 convertible early production Mustang.
