1977 Ford Ranchero Additional Info:
Nice looking 1977 Ford Ranchero in good shape. I haven't had the car for that long and am selling to help my daughter with college. I don't know the history of the vehicle all that well and I am far from an expert on classic automobiles, but I will describe everything the best I can and let you know all that I was told. It has a 351 Windsor V-8. I put 133,700 miles because I'm not sure if the odometer rolled over and I would rather be too high on themileage. I was told the man who had it before me only drove it about once a month for the last 15 years or so. The only things I have replaced is the Vinyl top, had the bed sprayed with a liner, and theair conditioning has been upgraded. As far as I know the rest is original (interior, engine, transmission, etc...). I was told it was repainted about 10 years ago the original color. It has been garage kept for at least the last 15 years. It starts right up and drives really nice. It has cold ac, all the lights work and everything seems to be functioning pretty well. I have the original radio it is just not installed, but has everything ready to be installed. It does turn a lot of heads and I am constantly getting stopped by people to take pictures and talk about it. It is not perfect though. It does have some scratches in the bed, the bumper had a little rust spot that someone put some kind of rust remover on (in a picture), a few very tiny spots of rust that are not big and not at all rotting or affecting the car. It has a small oil leak which I was told is common, it also has a couple of spots on the front bumper that look like a spider web type of cracking. None of these look to be a big deal, but as I said I am no expert. I set the price starting at what I need to get for it to make it worth selling it for me instead of setting a reserve and having everyone ask what the reserve is. I don't have to sell it I'm just kind of testing the waters to see if I can get it. The Ranchero is very nice and I do love having this vehicle. If it is not worth it for someone I just won't sell it. The buyer will have to pick it up or arrange their own shipping. I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours.
