1959 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
This is a rare 1959 Ford F100 4x4 with a step side long box. It spent most of its life as a farm truck in North Dakota just miles from the Canadian border. It was taken out west where it was restored by the previous owner. The way it is now is how I bought it. The cab and bed were removed and professionally painted. The frame and underside are coated with truck liner. The floor of the cab and inside of the truck bed are also coated.
The engine, transmission, and 4 wheel drive system are original. It still has a 6v system. There are some nice features added to it such as custom manifold, dual weber carbs, and dual exhaust with headers that have been installed in the last year. There are about 1500 miles on it since the restore and the old odometer reads 19,000 miles for the truck before the restore. There is no bondo or rust repair. Solid, original, straight truck. Also, the 4x4 is in good working order.
The brakes, bearings, and front leaf springs have been recently replaced. There is not a lift on the truck though it does sit a little higher with the newer springs and bigger tires.
With the restore being completed 8 years ago it does show some minor cosmetic wear and the parking brake in not operable. The new cable is included, just needs installed. The heater is disconnected, the hose that runs hot water to the system is bypassed. The core does not leak and the heater works fine if you want to reconnect the hose.
