You are looking at an unmolested rust free 2 owner pickup that has spent almost its whole life indoors . This truck has 0 rust ever i can take u pics of any angle anywhere on the truck an theres never been a repair or a panel placement in its 55 year, the truck spent every nite of its life in doors . It was used as a local delivery truck here for the first 30 years delivering parts for a local bearing warehouse an the last 20 years with a friend that was a sign painter . The truck has had 1 repaint an the color is a little light from the original poppy red . If you know these trucks you know this is a spring special an is mostly correc, the seat covers were replaced some many years ago an other that that its the way Henry made it . The truck has set over the past year till i got it due to a busted radiator so to get it up an reliable i have recently as in the past 3 weeks replaced the Battery radiator water pump fuel pump fuel lines cap rotor button wires rebuilt carb master cyl, wheel cyl brake hoses an thats about it . So it has had a little make over . The truck drives great runs great steers an stops great . Ive been driving every day to make sure there are no surprises or issues with using this as daily transportation . The motor was replaced about 6 or 7 years ago due to a rod coming through the side of block an busting hea, it runs very strong no smoke or noise anywhere . According to the dates on tires there 6 years old an still look great an drive with no vibration or issue . The falcon hubcaps are correct for the Spring Special as with the Chrome bumpers white steering wheel 5 window an custom side trim . I have had some profession econline guys look at this truck an they say its very correct all the hard to find items are there an are the original . It has the 5 correct wheels that are differant to the econline . All the lights blinkers are in correct working order but i have not yet got the horn or gas gauge working but will do my best to have in operation by the time auction is over . I have not looked at either i suspect the gas gauge is from sitting almost a year an i will dignose the horn should be an easy fix also . You can see every spot weld an see how clean the lines are on this truck to know that it has never had any body work in its life . When i purchaced the truck the tailgate was damaged where the trunions go into it ive been told that its a common problem with these the hinges got dry an rusty from lack of oiling an it cracks the metal on the lower so i have repaired this an there were some dents along the top of gate while i was repairing i chose to fix them also because the truck is so nice it distracted from it . This is the only repair ever that has been done to this truck . The truck is located in Jackson Mississippi an i reserve the right to end this auction with no explanation if i chose to .
