1989 Ford Mustang LX Additional Info:

Up for sale is my 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 V8 car, currently with 87,XXX miles.

The car is a really fun driver and is true to the e cam power curve - great mid range, really pulls. Shifts smooth. Cold a/c and hot heat. Valid VA inspection. Drives excellent, updated Koni shocks are comfortable for cruising and firm for tight turns.

Title shows TMU, but reviewing the car’s history this must have been someone checking the “not actual mileage” box thinking it meant they didn’t have the exact number when titling the car. The car is too clean to have the odometer rolled over.

I purchased this car earlier this year, and it did not need much to make it even better than it was. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt with an e cam, new clutch, lowering springs, 3.73 gears, exhaust with fresh magnaflow cats, and tons of other mods. The car came with a binder full of parts purchased and what mileage they were installed at, in addition to a few boxes of extra parts for the car, all of which will be passed to the buyer.

Over the course of this year, installed the cobra intake, updated the struts and various bushings, serviced the u joints, new engine and trans mounts, rebuilt injectors, fresh plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and finished off the interior.

Interior is awesome, fresh black carpet, fresh trunk carpet, new headliner, seals, etc. seats, dash, mats are all in excellent shape. Door lock actuators and switch modules have been replaced. Trunk and headliner have sound deadening and insulation added.

The chassis is excellent and has subframe connectors. Torque boxes are solid, trunk is solid, floors are solid, there was a small spot on the driver side floor repaired and seam sealed over.

Not sure at which point the car received an airbag steering wheel, however the module is removed from the car, will include with the sale.

With that, I am implying no warranty and am encouraging personal inspection as the seller relinquishes liability once the auction closes and buyer has completed purchase. This was a great car for me, but let's make sure it’s the right car for you before purchase.
