1930 Ford Model A Additional Info:

So you want to build a Hiboy Hot Rod Roadster but everything you find i, let's say, not in the best condition or it's fiberglass. Much less the cost and time involved to do the job and do it right. Or you could have it built......

Here's your chance to just get in, turn the key, look cool and drive away. Period style all steel '30 Model A Hiboy Roadster, shot in black many years ago over a rust free original all steel body, not a Brookville. The body has been reinforced around the backside where the top of the seat back lays, it was always a weak spot in Model A Roadsters. Top bows are stock Model A and have been modified and are chopped a mere 2". '32 filled and peaked steel grille shell. Steel 4 piece hood held in place with Dzus fasteners. Old school diamond tuft interior is done in Black vinyl. Very rare Moon steering column drop with an original '36 Ford Banjo steering wheel. (No turn signals....have to use your hand and arm! Killer dash with 'Wings' curved glass Stewart Warner gauges set in a stock '32 steel dash.

'32 ASC frame pinched for the Model A body. Dropped 4" Super Bell front axle suspended on a Posies chrome spring with Teflon inserts that make for a smooth ride. Front disc brakes with GM calipers bring the Roadster to stop. Pete & Jakes chrome front 'shorty' shocks. Power is put to the road via a Turbo 350 transmission, shifted with a Lokar shifter.

ZZ4 350 crate motor using a ZZ4 aluminum intake manifold fed by a 1406 Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor with an electric choke. An HEI electronic distributor fires the spark plugs. Chrome high output alternator. Mechanical fan pulls the air through a Walker radiator.

8" Ford rear end assembly with 2:80 road gears for cruising held in place by a 4 link system hooked to coil over shocks. Rear brakes are Ford drum.

Here is your chance to own a really cool Roadster that you can get in and drive!

Clear Arizona title. It is titled as a '29 Roadster but the '29 body was a total mess (inexperienced previous owner) so we put a '30 Roaster body on the '32 frame. Ford's bodies were never numbered, the VIN was always on the frame.
