1930 Ford Model A Additional Info:
Thorne Brown Model A Roadster, horough restoration completed about 12 years ago. $18,185.80 in receipts for parts, lus the initial cost of the car, nd 5 years of owner's labor were spent on this car, 04 miles since completed. LeBaron Bonney interior, op, rame, nterior, nd rumble seat. New steel fenders, ew steel doors, nd new anything required to make it presentable and serviceable. While this car is beautiful, t is an above-average driver quality amateur restoration. It would be a great way for someone to enter the hobby without spending 30K plus. I collect early Fords and consider the car entry level so I do not want to misrepresent it. To most people it would be a fabulous car. I bought this 2 years ago. I was looking for a good driver, hich it would be. Since then I have semi-retired, nd my car collection has started to grow out of control so it is time to sell a few. The car is titled as a 1931, o you know up front. I believe the owner built it as a 1930 to suit his taste. I purchased it from the son of the man who restored it, nd he gave me every receipt from the restoration. The chassis and underside are fresh and detailed as well as the exterior and interior. The paint looks good, ut has some visible bodywork in the back panel and some miscellaneous paint defects. I am sure the body has had some repairs over the years but it still looks good. Feel free to come out and look before you buy. I don't think you will find a better car for the money. $16,000.00. Feel free to call with any questions. Jeff 314-853-3385
