1974 Ford F-250 Additional Info:

Selling my personal 1974 Ford f-250 Supercab 2X4 Custom truck. 1974 was the first year for the supercab design by Ford. This truck is unique in that it is a factory equipped 460 c.i. big block with factory A/C, C6 automatic transmission, and cruise control. Only the 2X4 could get the 460 c.i. engine option. It still wears its (patina) factory Candyapple Red paint with Wimbledon White cab top and Candyapple red interior. The factory rear jump seats are excellent condition and100% original and I just had the front split bench recovered at a cost of $1100. Door panels are extremely nice as is the interior trim, headliner, and moldings. The dash has a couple small cracks. Radio is missing. It will need a new ignition switch installed as it currently uses a push button on the dash to start. This truck runs, drives, and is plated, insured, and registered. I drive it a few times a month but it could use tires and a tune up. Factory dual tanks both work. Power steering works fine. Factory bed tie downs are not pitted up. Even the factory side mirrors are not pitted or cracked and are original date coded mirrors! It retains all of its original LOF glass and it is all in very good condition. I have not pulled up the factory rubber mat but the floor pans are solid from viewing underneath. The frame rails are excellent. I have a brand new Dennis Carpenter LH grille insert and a nice original LH front turn signal lens for it. It currently is running a 4V Edlebrock carburetor but I have the original (rebuilt many years ago) Autolite 4V in the rebuild box for it. The 4 original dog dish hubcaps are nice (one is on the spare in the bed). The body and bed do have rust in the usual places (one cab corner, over the rear wheels, front of the bed bottom edge, one lower front fender corner). The A/C was converted but I have not put a belt on it to see if it works but the compressor turns fine. I have the build sheet taken from under the front seat springs and I laminated it to preserve it forever. The door tag confirms it was built as described here. Located in western CO 81416.NADA values:$8,800 Low$23,000 Avg.$43,000 High
This is an extremely rare truck and will only continue to appreciate in value! Starting bid is less than LOW average!!Clear Colorado title in my name only and in hand.
It will load easily onto a trailer or transport truck.I can store it for a few weeks free of charge so you can arrange shipping.
I WOULD NOT drive this truck on the highway before going over everything. The power brakes work, but might need a new master cylinder to be really right.
