For sale today is a clean old 1959 Ford Custom 300, with a Fairlane 500 interior package. This is a solid survivor Ford, runs and drives great-and still really gets the looks. The 6 cylinder engine purrs like a kitten, and the 3 speed manual shifts on the column-stills feels tight and true. Updates include a new aluminum radiator and a set of 20" wheels. There is damage to the drivers side windows, as well as a crack in the windshield. There have been a couple of body repairs done sometime in the past, but this car is truly a solid, honest, survivor car. The interior could use a freshening up, but is very driveable as it sits. The "patina look" is in, and this Ford would be a great cruise night car immediately, or a perfect start if you wanted to really build a show-car.
