This is a resto-mod in which we kept many original systems and upgraded others. Work done includes new suspension (shocks, springs, ball joints, steering linkages), new wheels and tires, new brakes (disc in front, drums in rear), new fuel pump, new MSD electronic ignition, rebuilt Holly 4-barrel carb, 460 engine (standard was a 429), C6 3-speed automatic transmission, a Bluetooth stereo with new speakers, new interior (seats, carpet, headliner), and clean body (rust removal and new paint), and 1970 TX plates. My son and I did much of the work ourselves as a father-son project. But he is now off at college and the car is just gathering dust.
