1967 Ford Thunderbird 2-Door Landau Additional Info:
Offered here is a family-owned 100-percent original and low-mileage 1967 Ford Thunderbird Tudor 2-Door Landau for your consideration. This is one of the most original and documented cars we've ever had for sale. Alice Kalash (April 9 1927 - May 27 2013) of Grosse Ile Michigan purchased this car brand new from Southgate Ford in 1967 and subsequently had it serviced there for decades to come keeping ALL the receipts. More importantly she kept the original sales documentation original build sheet original keys original owners manual and even the original Ford Thunderbird promotional brochure. It only has 55k original miles on it today. The car stands today wearing the original Arcadian Blue (code F) paint over the original Dark Blue (code 2B) vinyl seats. Both exterior and interior surfaces remain in excellent condition especially considering they have never been tampered with. The car is powered by the original numbers matching 390ci/315hp 4bbl V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. It starts runs and drives like the day Mrs. Kalash purchased the car. The only service the car has needed over the years have been new tires brakes exhaust and manifold fuel pump and a fully rebuilt motor in 2016. 1967 marked the first year of the fifth generation Thunderbird and debuting in the space age the styling and features are the car are evident. These include the swing-away steering wheel hidden headlights cockpit-like bucket seats acceleration lever dashboard switches cylinder gauges and the sequential rear turn signals all of which function as they should. The car also has air conditioning spare tire and jack and the original plastic still remains on the rear seat belts. This car is what you consider a survivor. It is a true collector car being preserved in one family with low miles and all original documentation and receipts. It is also the same exact car featured in Ford's Soaring 60's promotional poster. Check it out. We have over 100 photos and video on our website: Garage Kept Motors. Call or e-mail if interested or to make a reasonable offer. Thank you for looking.
