1962 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

Ford F-100 Uni-Body . This truck is in AWESOME condition. NO rust-through. Its in Primer now that is 5 years old., so some very minor surface rust is present. The bed has only a few shallow dents - clearly this truck had never seen hard labor. No dents or any repairs or body work done that is hidden or covered by the primer.I have owned this truck 10 years. Got it without motor or trans. I built a small-block 302 and backed it with a three-speed floor shift. Only driven in summer, but out and about regularly. Not totally daily, but many times a week. Truck always starts, and runs great. I dont know for certain how many miles I have put on the engine - didnt think to count because I wanted to keep this one forever. Anyway, I would estimate 15,000 on the engine.Besides the engine and trans - new gas tank, radiator, and exterior lighting. I re-used a set of 15" Cragers (some rust present), and shod new BF Goodriches. Brakes were done right after the engine went in - shoes and drums. All is good there. New drive shaft and yokes. I did a couple custom touches - the grill is a '64 Dart, and I did bullet taillights. Bellflower exhaust tips on new exhaust tubing. I have the original grill - goes with sale.Engine is mostly stock rebuilt - rings, bearings and so on. I put on a new Edelbrock performer intake, new water pump, fuel pump, etc. typical of a standard rebuild. Rear-end gear is 2.73, so the truck is capable of 65 mph at about 2100 rpm.Interior is refreshed with new paint, insulated roof, and custom hard headliner. New seat, and cover. Some custom pulls, shift knob and dash knobs. Has a tach, and other new gauges. EVERYTHING electrical works - like heater, fan, lights, wipers, turn indicators... New floor cover. I tinted the glass to legal 50%.
Things to look out for: (being honest here...)-power steering would be great-should probably get new wheel bearings-exterior paint. - you could leave it this way as sort of a rat-rod, but it truly deserves to get a cool paint job
I really like this truck, but am willing to sell so that I can finish a couple other projects I'm working on.
