1962 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Additional Info:
This is a pretty unusual truck made by Ford in the early 1960's. It is a "Unibody". Note the bed is attached to the cab. It has 5 lug wheels and that makes it a long bed half ton. Somewhere in the life of the truck, someone installed a later 390 with a C-6 automatic transmission. I run a restoration shop and I met this truck about 5 years ago. I have done routine service to it all these years. Now, the motor is tired and needs a re-build. It smokes. It still drives nice and ispretty tight. All the glass is good and the floors are spotless. The interior is clean and really needs nothing. There is rust in the forward cab mounts and these braces are available through LMC truck parts. There is one tiny spot of rust starting in a lower corner of the bed. This is shown in one of the photos. Overall a pretty neat truck when it was built several years ago and still looks good today. To see and drive the truck, call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 weekdays. We are about 18 miles east of Sacramento just off Highway 80 going towards Reno, Nevada. Thanks for looking.
