1965 Ford Galaxie barn find. In storage for over 40 years and garaged since new.

1965 Ford Galaxie Additional Info:

1965 Ford Custom. We had to put it under Galaxie as Ebay has no category for the Custom. This car is a one owner that has been in storage the last 40 years and garaged every day since new. We stuck a battery in it and it fired right up. Owner replaced the original 289 with a 302. The mufflers have holes in them due to the water condensing in them. It has never been hit. The only rust is directly above the rear tires on the quarter panels. See pics. The interior is worn but has seat covers both front and rear. And the headliner is slightly hanging in the rear. And the top of the dash is trashed.None of the glass is broken but the crank for the drivers side window needs to be repaired. Both the trunk key and ignition are there as well as the original owners manual. We didn't take it out of the barn, but we will in the next couple of days to verify the transmission is ok.This is a perfect car for a restoration or just a driver the way it is.
