1936 Ford Other Additional Info:
Absolutely stunning and beautiful, fully restored 1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe. They don't get much nicer than this! The original car was rust free prior to the restoration. All Steel Body and Steel Fenders. This restoration project was extremely well built with much attention paid to the traditional hot rod details during the full frame-off restoration. Original Henry Ford body that has not been cut up, chopped or molested. Original vinyl roof insert that is still in tact as well as front crank out windshield and roll-down rear window that operate as you expect. This undercarriage of this car is just as clean, solid and nice as the exterior. Too much to list with over $12,000.00 recently spent (fully documented with binder and receipts included with sale of car) on a professionally built "B" Block flat head which had been bored over with a Mercury crank, dual carburetor setup, Offenhauser heads, Fenton headers, dual exhaust, aluminum radiator, electric fan, electric fuel pump, entire electrical system upgraded to 12 volt, Updates to the chassis include a Mustang II Heidt's adjustable front end equipped with rack & pinion steering, juice brake conversion with front disc brakes. Manual transmission and the rear end have been rebuilt and left stock. However, a completely brand new (In the box) Mitchell Over Drive unit will be included with the sale of the vehicle. The interior has been fully restored using an original style kit from LaBaron and Bonney with the addition of a vintage machined face dash insert and custom gauges. The rims are 15" steelies with era correct hubcaps and Coker wide white wall tires complete this classic Hot Rod look. A Very reliable driver, a blast to drive and a fun cruiser. There is so much high caliber craftsmanship and detail to appreciate with this restoration build. You will not be disappointed.I am selling this vehicle for a very close friend of mine. He has been a car collector for over 50 years as well as a perfectionist with his car collection. The car resides in Assonet, MA and the Buyer of the car is responsible for the pick up of the vehicle and or any shipping costs. There is one approximate 3/8" imperfection on the inside of the rolled front fender which you cannot see unless you look inside the fender well. I believe there is one other very small scratch on the side of the hood. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. The Buyer welcomes anyone to come and inspect the car prior to the end of the auction. A $500.00 deposit is required at the end of the auction and payment is expected in full to the owner of the car within seven days from the last day of the auction. The car is being sold in as is condition with no warranties.
