For your consideration is this 1973 Ford Gran Torino Sport. This car should be considered arestomod. It was resomoded many years ago using the best parts from two nearly identical Q code Gran Torinos. I have the Marti reports for both. The car for sale here was built in July 1973 and the donor car was built in April 1973. So all the driveline parts are correct Ford parts with correct date coding but not numbers matching to the carfor sale.
Between the previous owner and myself, there has been extensive work done to the carincluding; new floors, new interior, detailed engine, and rebuilt brakes. New parts include; front and rear shocks, rear coil springs, front and rear brakes including wheel cylinders and calipers, radiator,aluminum intake, 750 Holley carb., Distributor, oil pump, fuel pump, gas tank, re-chromed air cleaner lid.
The car runs strong, drives and stops well. It does have a noisy lifter. All gauges work except the clock and speedo. Overall this is a very solid car that can be enjoyed as it sits. The paint is a solid 10 footer. Interior in very nice. Please review the pictures and video. I tried to show all the good and the flaws. Please ask question before ending the auction. The car is sold "AS IS" it is 50 years old.
I am open the Muscle car trades up or down. I'm a Ford guy so I prefer Ford and Mercury muscle cars.
