1970 Ford Torino Additional Info:
This is an all original 1970 429 Torino Cobra on a Southern California car that sold new at McCoy Ford in Anaheim CA.
Please be aware that the car has been garaged for the last three years and currently isn't starting... Ran fine for me for 22 years...been garaged for 3 years. California car, no east coast rust issues-never been run in the salt.
Having said that it is priced way below what an all original rare muscle car would sell for so there is plenty of room for someone to take an all original real deal and authentic N code Torino Cobra, restore it and have a $40,000 car or better. Or get her running and keep her all original since I have all the documentation, it is a straight original car.
Had a minor cosmetic restoration in the early 90's. One owner from new to 1991. I purchased in 93 or 94 at BJ in Scottsdale. Documents include original purchase order, original warranty card, original window sticker and original warranty book.
Features listed on the window sticker include Hardtop Sportsroof, 429 CID 4V 8 CYL, Foam Padded Seats, Competition Suspension, 7 inch Wheels with Hubcaps, Black Tu-Tone Hood, Exposed Hood Lock Pins, Bright Exterior Moldings, Color Keyed Nylon Carpeting, Courtesy Lights, Belted Tires With Raised White Letters, Dark Ivy Green Metallic /C/, Vinyl Seat Trim, Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Air Conditioner-Selectaire, AM Radio, Tinted Glass-Complete and Color-Keyed Racing Mirrors.
Total Factory Window Sticker price in 1970 was $4239.95
Car is also available for sale locally so I reserve the right to withdraw if it sells prior to end of auction.

I've have received many messages... I finally returned the last of them today so if you were wondering why I didn't respond right away-was slammed. The one question that almost everybody asked was if the motor turned over. The answer is yes it does turn-but won't kick in. Could be bad gas, could be Carb, plugs who knows... I may send it out to a local mechanic-get it running and up the price... But at this price it is an incredible opportunity-the bones are good. It is a rare all original car that has been unmolested since 1970. We are living in a world of clones for more money. Because these last true 1970 muscle car Fords are so rare... it is a great deal, even at the Buy it Now price of $22,000.
