1972 Ford F-100 Restomod Additional Info:
This 1972 Ford F-100 underwent a fresh restoration that gave it a modern look, beautiful panels, nice V8 power, and lifted stance for plenty of attitude. So dig into all the details on a crisp, clean, and very cool machine.
This truck started out as a father and son project, but was completed earlier this year by a full professional shop. So you get the careful devotion of a passion project that also has a top-quality finish. And while this looks so nice, the overall effect is as stern as a drill sergeant. After all, the matte olive paint is a shade ready for military service. It's such an even application on such well-done panels that this one looks like it's showing up in its dress greens. Instead of brightwork, this one has a well-coordinated and strong blackout package with the bumpers, grille, mirrors, and full trim looking deep and dark. Plus, some of the best functional upgrades are done in black, such as the tough liner paint in the versatile long bed, side step plates, and black wheels on meaty Cooper Discoverer tires that show off the lifted suspension. Even the blackout exhaust tips are a cool patriotic detail with the American flag on them. And don't forget to check out the picture in the photos gallery that shows the upgraded LED lighting package giving off a cool custom glow.
The interior continues the feeling of a thoughtful total package. The green and black theme continues as it's intertwined on the doors and dash. Plus, the custom bench seat has comfy cloth inserts for where you sit. And it's especially cool how all the details - from the seatbelts to the seat piping - are finished in an exterior-matching green. This has the great classic vibe with the factory-style gauges and thin three-spoke steering wheel. But the addition of the AutoMeter tach also lets you know there's something nice under the hood, too.
The tidiness of the engine bay is another reminder of how fresh this build is. This includes the great-looking presentation of Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as headers feed the dual exhaust. The hoses, wiring, belts, and all other details have the kind of freshness that really allow you to enjoy this build. That's why it fires up easily, runs smoothly, and shifts crisply with the three-speed automatic transmission. The undercarriage photos show the freshness of the components, which is also is why this feels so tight on the road. Plus, power steering and power brakes w/discs up front complete a fine-driving package.
Fresh, rugged, and all-around awesome, if you want to powerful classic truck that's also always memorable, don't let this distinct Ford slip away. Call now!
