1940 Ford Other Streetrod Additional Info:
This is all steel 1940 Ford Coupe streetrod has the flame-kissed look you expect on a V8 coupe like this. But as you dig deeper, you're going to discover thoughtful build - right down to the roomy A/C interior. It makes for a bold coupe that you'll also enjoy driving.
The flames are what everyone sees first. It's because they used a vibrant red canvas to lay down the well-contracted cream blaze on top. And the way the tips reach deep into the fender and hood really showcase an artful application. But even without the flames, this one is a terrific street machine. The big chrome grille, wide chrome bumpers, and aggressive forward-leaning stance already give this the intimidation factor of a freight train. Plus, there are cool details, like the full-length trim, two-piece wheel covers, deleted rear trim, and polished Ractive exhaust tips. It's all part of a memorable total package.
The custom treatment continues inside. It starts with two comfortable leatherette bucket seats with ultra-suede inserts. These high-back units feature a level of comfort unknown in 1940. Plus, the two-tone here nicely coordinates with the carpeting, headliner, trunk, and custom door panels to deliver a uniform total package. This has the kind of space where even taller people can get comfortable. Plus, everyone will enjoy upgraded features, like an AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, power vent cowl, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. And the upgrades don't stop for the driver. You get a cool flame-kissed Billet steering wheel on a tilt column, Lokar floor shifter, and a full upgraded Dolphin gauge package.
More of the cool flames await you under the hood with the etched air topper capping off the enhanced V8 power. This 350 cubic-inch small block is a roller cam crate motor with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, GM Performance intake, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust. This is a driver's machine, and so you get plenty of great upgrades to enjoy this coupe. It includes the Mustang II-style independent front suspension and rack & pinion power steering. Plus, there's a three-speed automatic transmission and power brakes w/discs up front.
This is the bold-looking street machine that you can enjoy showing off near or far. It's both comfortable and cool, which makes for a total package you need to get your hands on right now.
