This is a 1 family locally owned 1967 Mustang convertible. It was purchased new on March 8, 1967 from Tom Zweifel Ford in Milwaukee, WI. This is an unmolested, adult driven, and stock including what we believe is an all original power train (289 C code, automatic and 85245 original miles), AM radio and all the paperwork from when new as shown. It is a manual steering, manual brake car. We are including a complete OEM front power disc brake set (used) to convert the brakes to power disc if desired. All the codes we checked on the trim tag and Marti report match, including the color. We also are amazed at the condition of the original interior including the carpeting, seats and dash pad. The paint is the original color with the black interior. Aside from a small imperfection in the driver seat bolster shown, it is near perfect. Carpeting is original and the floor mats are Ford as shown. It has had one repaint (probable singe stage enamel) and reconditioning years ago including quarter panels, door, fenders which may be OEM. At that time, it had brand new OEM Ford bumpers installed, and the only part not available at that time were the 1967 quarters so NOS 1968 variety were added. The underbody was not restored. The manual convertible top is amazing and original. All windows roll up and down as expected and the doors open and shut perfectly. We could not find any reproduction parts on this car aside from the wheels and tires which are less than a year old. It has the OEM AM radio that is in the dash and works, and all other accessories (blower, wipers, gauges, etc). all appear to work. The fuel tank appears to be original and does not leak. It was also dealer undercoated when new. The tires are less than a year old as stated. The top is a manual top and is original. This vehicle runs and drives extremely well. We had the carb rebuilt and engine tuned up last year, as well as an oil change and front end check and alignment. What does it need? The inner rockers are probably going to need some workand maybe eventual floor pans. However, there is no body sag and we have thoroughly enjoyed the car as it is. We are including the new inner rockers and pans with the sale. As stated, we were also going to convert to power disc brakes in the front and have all OEM parts that we are also including from a 1968. The vehicle is is in awesome shape for the age. We are also including a brand new OEM complete dual exhaust in the box as well.
