Built in San Jose, California on October 10th of 1966, this 1967 Mustang GT 390 just underwent a complete rotisserie restoration. The Ford is a West Coast car that was originally sold in Grant%u2019s Pass, Oregon at Mock Ford Sales. She's a factory GT390 with a 4-speed, air, power steering and power brakes. We hope we're checking all the right boxes for you Mustang fans.
The Mustang is finished in factory correct Wimbledon White over a black vinyl interior. The black GT stripe on the side is also correct per the Marti report. The paint is now a high quality two stage finish, and the undercarriage is highly detailed per the factory look with red oxide floors and white over spray. All of the stainless has been restored and the chrome has been replaced. All of the plastic lenses are new, and all of the rubber trim is new as well.
The motor is a rebuilt and date code correct FE 390 engine. Factory VIN stampings are not present on pre '68 FE engines, so the closest we can match this engine to the car is by a casting date, which precedes the car build date. The engine comes with receipt for the rebuild, and also a cam spec card. The motor runs is very smooth and was rebuilt to factory spec. It sits in a very highly detailed engine compartment complete with correct hoses, finished, and clamps. What a beauty!
The car features a very crisp and restored interior complete with a center console, overhead console, AM radio and the Sport Deck rear seat. You can stay nice and cool with a completely restored factory A/C system!
The car rides on a fully rebuilt suspension, featuring all new shocks, and bushings. The entire steering system has all new/rebuilt components resulting is a tight ride. Also rebuilt is the brake system which is comprised of power front disc and rear drums. You'll find all new brake lines throughout, as well as all new power steering hoses. Rounding out the original look is a set of Firestone F70-14 Wide Oval tires mounted on styled steel wheels.
