1948 Ford Other -- Additional Info:
Here is a nice 1948 Ford Convertible. The car was built In the 70s in Kansas. It has been driven regularly and would not be afraid to take it on a trip.
The paint has been on the car quite a while and has a little patina. There are some chips aND some checking. The body looks real nice. There is no bubbling or rust coming through. We think the body is very nice. Not a mud bucket. Floors look nice. No patches.
The car has a 351 Ford Winsor with an automatic transmission. Mustang II suspension up front. With a 9 inch ford rear, 4 bars and coil over shocks in the back. Wheels and tires are new.
Top and interior are ok but could use replacement. Interior has some stain, we usually keep a blanket on it. The top does have a tear on the lower passenger side by the back window. I think you can see it in the pics.
The car has had a new column and complete wiring system installed recently.
It is a great dependable driver that you can add your touches to personalize or just drive.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
