1971 Mustang convertible for sale. 351 Cleveland V8 with C6 automatic, 77,000 original miles. Car runs good, transmission shifts smooth in all gears, brakes and power steering work. Has factory a/c and equipped with rare vintage Spyder race wheels with excellent chrome outer rims(the value of the wheels alone is approx. $1500). Recently installed new gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump and carburetor kit. New rear spoiler in the box, Scott drake gas cap and a nice complete set of original shop manuals- 5 books. All original Ford script glass is good including original curved convertible top rear top glass, excellent chrome and exterior die cast like convertible top well mouldings and grill surround trim.

Convertible top, which appeared to have the original black top, and rear quarter windows was carefully marked before removal. Rear quarter panel work was started, floors are excellent but front drivers foot well needs a patch panel. This is a great project for someone who's not afraid of metal work and wants a very solid muscle era ragtop. This is a lifetime Colorado car that appears to have never been apart- a very solid original, unmolested car. Original black interior is good with the exception of front drivers seat which needs repair. All parts and extra parts are included, any hardware is bagged and tagged.
