This is a drop-dead gorgeous true California-from-new 1934 Ford five window coupe with all original Henry Ford steel body panels. This is a seriously competitive resto-rod that was built by a client of ours that has built each of his cars to perfection- for touring and concours quality show potential. This no expense spared restoration and impeccable build quality makes this a no-excuses purchase. This has it all. This all Henry Ford steel body rests on a new TCI chassis... with the straight axle front end and fastidiously engineered and precise rack and pinion steering. The engine is a completely rebuilt 1965 Chevrolet 327 cu. In. 300 hp V-8 with a 350 Turbo Hydromatic transmission with the final drive completed through a 9 inch rear end. The restoration is detailed with photos, showing pride of craftsmanship. This was built for long cruises with the upmost in comfort in mind. The interior is finished in breathtaking Le Barron & Bonny correct 34 upholstery. The craftsmanship far exceeds that of the original Michigan production. It has beautifully engineered air conditioning and heating systems that use some of the original dash components to operate. We encourage you to look closely at the photos to understand the fantastic build quality of this Coupe. The wood grained dash is spectacular with Stewart Warner wings gauges! The livery is presented in single stage burgundy using PPG paint. The 15-inch Kelsey Hays style wheels are powder-coated in a beautifully contrasted cream. The rear mounted spare was a custom adaptation that we think looks spectacular. Norm Petrucci, our client and the owner-builder of this Coupe, first bought this as an all-original, rust free California black plate car about 20 years ago. He bought the car in Corona, California still presented with the original flat-head V-8. The original car was in impressive condition with an incredibly nice body. We sold it to the existing owner many years ago and for medical reasons we've been asked to find it its new home. It is rare to find an all Henry Ford steel 1934 five window coupe. Even rarer is to find one that was meticulously engineered to be a fantastic touring car as well as benefited from concours quality finishes in every regard. If you are seriously looking for a coupe, this is the one to buy. For more details email us at or call or text us at 1.602.245.7200.
