To this day, the Ford Model A is one of the most recognizable cars on the planet and with over 4.8 million units produced in nine different body styles in its four year production period. It was sporty, attractive, well-built, and smooth-running compared to the Model T, which it replaced in the 1928 model year. Despite its achievements, the Model A faced stiff competition, and just four years later Ford introduced a whole load of updates in the form of the Model B. While they were popular cars,... the best known model is the 1934 Ford which have become extremely popular as hot rods. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this one of a kind 1934 for your consideration. An extremely impressive build sheet accompanies this bright red example. The body itself is in great shape and has been well taken care of. The body is rare and original 1934 Ford steel, as are the running boards. The fenders and doors are fiberglass. The engine is a Chevrolet 350cid V8 that starts up and runs well, is run through stainless steel exhaust and is mated to a 350 automatic transmission. The engine recently had a fresh detail and has new ceramic headers. The front suspension is from a Mustang II and also features disc brakes. The rear end is from a Chevrolet Nova and there are 16in Weld wheels with modern tires. Modern features include power brakes, alarm system, power windows, tilt steering wheel, remote key fob with door poppers, and a modern stereo with power antenna. The interior is all new and is in excellent shape. New leather seats are courtesy of a VW and the headliner and door panels are custom. Billet aluminum trim and a wood look dashboard also add to the custom feel. The car also has a new battery, new headlights, and turn signals. While many hotrods are temperamental and difficult to drive, this 1934 is set up extremely well. The engine fires up extremely quickly and doesn't even need to be pumped. The more modern Mustang suspension means it handles well. The updated interior is comfortable and a nice place to be. You won't be disappointed with this eye catching hotrod.
