1956 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

Up for sale is a 1956 Ford pickup that is sitting on a 1998 Dodge 2500 2wd chassis with the incredible 12 valve Cummings diesel which I call THE FODGE. The Dodge truck was purchased after it was rolled over in a collision when it only had 18000 miles on it the cab was cutoff leaving the floorpan and the firewall of the dodge cab then the process began of installing the 1956 ford cab used two cabs welded together to fit the dodge floorpan being I kept the firewall of the dodge cab retained the the dodge ac system and full instrument cluster. So everything works ac system, cruise control, wipers system, is equipped with power windows and locks and power driver seat the all the seats are out of a dodge Dakota to fit in the narrow ford cab. The cab is fully insulated with lizard skin and insulation on top of the lizard skin. Has a bitching stereo system with navigation and 10" sub under the console with 2 amps and great set of speakers. Rear seats fold down and has storage behind the rear seats. The chassis is a complete dodge big 14" rear end 47re transmission which has a 3 disc billet torque convertor and shift kit the engine is the last of the 12 valve Cummings with the p pump which has been turned up and has big delivery valves and 100hp injectors also this engine has TWIN TURBOS bought stainless steel exhaust manifold turned it upside down and mounted the stock turbo the primary turbo is a I believe a Borg Warner 40 turbo this thing rocks will produce 50 pounds of boost and there is more in it if you wanted to turn the pump up some more. My best guess is this truck has 450 or better horsepower and one hell of a lot of torque. Has a 5" exhaust from turbo all the way to the back. The truck was finished in 2012 and we took on the hot rod power tour putting more then 8000 miles on that trip. As you cab see the truck has 58000 miles on it now so I drove it a lot with no issues. Reason for selling I have enjoyed it and just kinda time to move on to my next project. The negatives of this truck is the paint it still looks ok but some spots the paint is lifting for some reason unknown to me. Tires are recently replaced as are the brakes. I would not be afraid to jump in this truck and drive it across the United States and have no issues. You will not find another truck like this anywhere If want something that will get looks anywhere you go this is it and having fun driving it to boot. Have any questions please ask I built this truck myself so I should have all the answers.
