Custom one-of-a-kind 1 of 1 F-100 Hot rod resto-mod (Pegasus). Very unique and will get a lot of attention when finished. This truck has the potential to be 50k plus, if the right steps are taken. My original thoughts when I purchased the truck was to drop a coyote setup in it with a 6 speed, but that stopped at a thought. I realize I do not have the time/resources to take on such a task.
If you know anything about the cost involvedwith custom body work, You will know what a great bargainthis truck is. There is easilyover 10k in frame and body work (not including paint) and that with just the 383 engine itself is worth the starting price. Not to mention the tens of thousands in additional parts, labor and original purchase price of a base truck.
Still, no sense is hidingthe fact that this is still very much a project. It will drive up on a trailer and around the house, but is not ready to be driven on the road just yet.
Paint isCadillacBright Diamond White and BMW Sakhir orange. Paint is older and has some flaws. Still looks good but is no longer show quality in my opinion.


First off, let's start with what I know it needs:

• Exhaust- is run to the back axle has x-pipe and Flowmastermufflers but needs to have the tips mounted and exhaust connected to them.

• Side windows- the glass is damaged. The windows go up and down but need to be guided or they fall out of the tracks. (They will need to be adjusted and or guides installed to keep them in the tracks. The glass is flat and you can either get new ones cut or buy the kit. The ones there are usable, but someone had them next to a sand blaster or something and they have tiny chips all over.)

• The Steering column will probably need to be changed out. The current one will not allow for the dash trim to be installed. (at the very least the columnshifter needs to be changed out to a floor style.)

• A/C will need to be charged- All hoses are run, but it will need to be leak checked and charged.

• Brakes- Need to be bled- They work good enough to stop the truck but will probablyrequire further bleeding to be road-worthy (its hard to bleed brakes single handily).

• Engine runs but needs to be fine-tuned (I think it is just the idle, I haven't found its happy place between cold and hot)

• Wiper arms- The ones I have are too short. There are lots of options out there (has approx 1/4" shafts)

• Door panels mounted, Seats mounted and seat belts installed-

• Wheel alignment and a good once over.

There may be other things, but that should be the bulk of it.
All that aside, it is a pretty cool truck. It gets lots of complements from those that see it. Mechanically and electrically, I think most of it hooked up and is working either at 100% or close enough that just a little tweaking/time/$ will set it straight.

• Power window motors (Working but as stated above needs adjustment)
• Power brakes (need to be bled)

• Hi/low wiper speeds and auto-park wiper park function
• High and Low beam Head lights
• Interior Dome lights and Custom door sill lights
• Dash CD/DVD player
• Overhead DVD Player
• Blower motor for A/C and heat
• Dash Lights
• Reverse camera and back up sensors (Needs trans module calibrated/hooked up but it is wired and included)
• Starts and turns off with keyed ignition
• Temp Gauge
• Oil Gauge
• Fuel Gauge
• Voltage gauge
• Speedometer - (May need calibration. Instructions included)

The truck does currently "lot drive" and is tagged and insured in my name. GA does not issue titles for vehicles of this age and this is being sold on a GA Bill of Sale.

For sale is my one of kind custom 1965 Ford F100 pickup truck. It has a lot of potential but needs someone with more time and motivation to finish it.
Long story short this is an older show/custom truck restoration. I purchased this truck from the owner who originally started the build. It was in the shop getting some modern interior/driveline updates when the owner had the opportunity to pursue other ventures and work was halted. The current work was started about 7-8 years ago. It was getting newer style interior, 383 engine, built transmission and updated gearing along with one piece power windows and Vintage A/C. I was supposed to get all the receipts and build pictures but didn’t receive the paperwork or pictures as promised. (That’s what I get for handing over the cash without all the goods at time of sale I guess.)
I have spent countless hours and thousands more on the truck to get it running and lot driving under its own power. Unfortunately for me, to be what it was meant to be, it will need additional time and my heart and soul has just lost motivation over time. It’s a new year and new goals. Time to let the past be the past.
The truck has classic instrument gauges, keyless entry, illuminated door kick panels, power windows, touchscreen stereo, flip down DVD player, sliding rear window, power side windows, backup camera, rear park sensors, LED third brake light. 2 speed wipers with auto park function, rack and pinion steering custom interior lighting and much more.
Here is what I was told about the truck when I purchased it.

Engine is a fresh 383 Stroker with 440 HP with a rebuilt 700R4 trans to handle the increased power. Has a Ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears and custom rear axle and 4-wheel disc brakes. It has IFS suspension from a Ford Crown Vic with power steering. Has 18/19 color matched wheels with brand new Hankook tires. All new fuel lines and electrical were routed and gas tank placed under bed.
It was a frame off restoration with all rust removed, frame boxed, and sound proofing added to cab. Paint is a BMW Orange and Cadillac White, frame, undercarriage and bed are flat black.
Hundreds of hours spent on bodywork to tuck bumpers, incorporate custom grille from '56 Ford, custom hood, rear fenders, smoothed tailgate with raised letters, small extension to roofline and tailgate, custom exhaust and taillights. The doors were converted to suicide opening to incorporate new 1 piece glass and door handles and body trim shaved for a smooth finish.
Interior was from a modern Ford SUV custom fit and wrapped in brown & tan leather and suede. Matching bucket seats with center jump seat/armrest. It has been plumbed to incorporate the factory heat/AC and stereo.

The original owner claimed to have had over 45K invested in the truck. I don't have 45k in it but I do have a good bit more in the truck than my starting price. I am trying to be realistic, I want it to have a good home and I realize it still has some work to be done. ( I believe the hardest parts of it are over. Most of whats left depends on if you want it to be a show truck again or just a cool cruiser).
