This is a very nice, original paint, F-150 Ranger XLT. This truck was delivered new to Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville, AL and spent it's life in AL up until around 2011 when it was brought to TN. Here are the original options according to the Marti report:
-Ammeter and oil pressure gauges
-Oil bath air cleaner
-Power Steering
-L78x15-D white sidewall tires
-Mud and snow tread tires
-Air conditioner
-AM radio
-Tinted glass
-Ranger XLT package
It is also equipped with the 400-2v engine, stock 3.50 gears, and rebuilt automatic transmission. The truck drives great and gets a lot of attention everywhere I take it. The paint is original and has a lot of patina. There are some dents and dings, but overall the truck presents very well. There are no rust holes and when I took out the old carpet to replace it the floors looked factory fresh. The dash pad (uncracked) and door panels in the interior are original, but the carpet and headliner have been replaced and the seat recovered. The original AM radio has been replaced with a retro look AM/FM radio, which also has an aux cable to connect to your phone.
Recent upgrades and repairs:
-New retro look radio and new speakers (March 2019)
-New Falken 35x12.5 MTs and Crager wheels. (9/2018, $800 for tires and $400 for wheels)
-Dual exhaust from manifolds back. They also replaced one manifold gasket. (Jan 2019, $774, I have the receipt)
-New front and rear rubber brake lines.
-New front windshield (original was cracked)
-In early 2018 the truck started running rough and lost power. I took it to a local restoration shop and they found the timing gears damaged due to wear and age. They replaced the timing set and waterpump, then I had them drop the pan and replace the oil pump, then clean and paint the oil pan, timing cover, and engine pullies, and perform an oil change. (Feb 2017, $1700, I have the receipt)
-In mid 2017 the transmission started slipping. I had the transmission rebuilt, flywheel replaced, and the truck tuned up. (6/2017, $1355, I have the receipt)
-New carburetor. (Original included)
-Prior to my ownership the truck was converted to a newer style alternator.
A few other items:
-The AC does not currently blow cold. Everything is there and it worked last year, but I imagine it's at the point where it needs to be converted to R134a.
- 4WD works great.
-The engine and trans work great, no unusual noises, smoke, etc. This is a nice running and driving truck.
I'm happy to answer any questions and you are welcome to inspect the truck in person in Middle TN if you'd like.
