This truck was purchased by my great uncle Charlei Proffitt in 1956 (original title included with sale). He left me the truck upon his passing. It has the original wood bed (solid as a rock), original color (Meadow Green), original engine (rebuilt about 10 years ago with a new crankshaft pistons etc.), dashboard is original and has not been altered in any way. It has a new tailgate, new carburetor, fuel pump and radiator but all original parts are included with the sale (including the glass bowl carb. and fuel pump). Many other goodies included too. The truck runs well and I use it on the farm as a work truck. It always been kept under cover since new. As a result, the body has a few dents and scratches BUT NO RUST. I am getting up in years and want to sell to someone looking for a special truck. It has an in-line 6 with 3 on the tree. It has about 6,000 miles on the rebuilt engine.
