SUMMARY: This is a beautiful, professionally restored '46 Ford Super Deluxe convertible that runs and drives like a much newer vehicle. You can take this car across town or across the country, safely, reliably, and with a ton of style. The salt and pepper gray top is in good condition and goes up and down manually and stows easily under a matching boot cover.
SPECIFICS: It features a healthy 383 small block Chevrolet V8, 3-speed automatic, Holley aluminum heads, ceramic coated headers, and plenty of underhood brightwork. Has just about every street rod goodie you could want, including Ford 9-inch rear, Heidt's rack and pinion front end, 4 corner adjustable coilovers, 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, power brakes, Vintage AC, cruise control, even power seats. Lights, signals, wipers, stereo, and horn all work as they should. The car drives comfortably like a much newer vehicle given all of these modern upgrades, meaning
Body and frame are super solid, with no rust issues or heavy body fillers. The top was chopped about 2 inches at the windshield, with a V-butted windshield to give a more raked look. The paint is a beautiful bright blue metallic, and draws massive attention everywhere it goes. New stainless trim complements the shaved-and-bumpers look of this Super Deluxe. There's no air-ride to break down, and the tires do not rub. It's been driven 15k miles since completed, so it does have a few minor nicks/chips, but nothing out of the ordinary. The metal running boards and area below the windshield have some light flaws, but nothing requiring paintwork or immediate attention. Top itself is fabric with a glass rear window, and is manual, but goes up and down with ease. It rides on 15" chrome Torque Thrusts with Firestone Firehawk 275s and 215s back to front.Inside, gray leather covers all the seats and door anels, and the dash is simply a work of art, with a full complement of gauges (and yes, all of those work, too).
