“SugarCane”
I named this old Ford truck SugarCane… it is as sweet as sugar and it’s tough as cane! The truck was built for performance & functionality first… and it is the sweetest riding old truck that I’ve owned yet… it’s a pleasure to drive and own 100%. This sweet old baby cruises 75-80 mph down the road like its on rails… and with plenty of power to boot.

If you are still on dial up internet or have a dinosaur computer, you may not get them at all. Posted are pics outside, inside, engine bay, and suspension and in that order. 1998 Ford Explorer rear axle rebuilt from hub to hub with a 373 gear
Ridetech adjustable coil overs all the way around with Ridetech 4-link & C-notched frame
Rebuilt C4 AOD transmission with Lokar 24” floor shifter (with kickdown)
15x10 American Racing aluminum wheels with new 255/30zr20 tires
15-gallon stainless steel fuel cell (keg), all fuel lines are braided stainless steel with a Summit 7-10 PSI fuel pump & regulator
Door latches & strikers are new
Side glass and runners, lift bar, anti-rattle kit all new
All sheet metal work on firewall & gravel pan done with stainless steel
Air Speed Indicator from a Cessna airplane installed in dash with air catcher outside (works great)
All stainless-steel bolts throughout the build
Exotic Mahogany Croc seat upholstery & door panels (3/15/19)
Fresh oil and filter service (4/5/19)
No Leaks … NONE
This truck is rust free with great patina and some great looking bare metal as well… Fresh professional clear coat (2 coats and baked on correctly 3/09/19), to preserve the awesome patina and look & to bring out the patina, paint, with a real nice shine (slick as glass). This truck is a for real head turner and a show stopper.

The stance is just right. This truck was built to perform as well as show. Functionality first… from the beginning of the build to the end. The truck has been driven about 1200-1500 miles since the build (other than the clear coat and interior), and it is dialed in and an absolute pleasure to drive. I’ve been driving the truck at speeds up to 80-85 on the interstate and you can take your hands off the wheel and it is straight and true. The truck does not have heat or AC. I have left the inside of the cab with metal floor and firewall exposed intentionally, thought it looked better that way and goes with theme of the build (in my opinion). As stated above all the lights are LED inside & out… No fuel gauge.
