This is a 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria with a continental kit. The owner of this car bought it in 1972 and had it completely restored in 2009. Since it's restoration it has had very few miles put on it only going to a few car shows. Sadly, due to a death in the family, the car has to be sold.
The body was an original steel body. It was completely restored, inside and out by AJ's Automotive of Canton, SD. The rear tail pan, lower quarter panel, rocker panels, headlight buckets and lower front fenders were replaced with new sheet metal. A continental kit was added to the rear of the car. Custom updates include power disc brakes, air conditioning, and an alternator. The front and rear bumpers were re-chromed and all of the rest of the stainless is new or reconditioned. The engine is a 312 Y Block Thunderbird engine, which was the original for a 56 Ford Victoria.
The exterior is a stunning two-toned custom black and white, painted with the highest quality DuPont Chromapremier paint. The bodywork is excellent, with no imperfections under the paint.
The interior consists of all new original style material.
This car is a very high quality Victoria that took a lot of time, parts, and money to build, and it shows. This car is a rare find. Very few cars are professionally built to this high quality.
We are selling this car for the family, but would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. We know the car inside and out and have many pictures of the restoration process.
