Now, back to the original post. -----------------------------------------****************************

Hello EBAY,

And what I have for sale in this post is the most famous 1987 Ford F-150 work horse in the Tri-State area!!! It is the Ford F-150 known as The Italian Stallion, driven by yours truly, the author known as Gennaro Lombardi, myself. Not only is the truck known all over New Jersey and NY just because of the way I painted the tailgate, but it is also the picture that is used on the cover of my very first book called "Italian Lessons 101", that now has now sold over 550 copies. This truck can be seen on my book, which is for sale on Amazon!
Pretty much ever Gumba Johnny, Tony Soprano, and Rocky Balboa wanna be from Nutley NJ to Brooklyn NY knows this truck, and they know me. I am one of those guys who knows everyone, not only because I am a great writer and salesman, but because of the life I lived, and still do. I am one of those typical Italian guys that is always out in the streets at night having a good time, and this truck took me there many of those nights. Whether I went to a night club, a car show, a concert, a parade, for a drive through little Italy and a nice fall evening, or just around my own little Town of Nutley Nj when I went out for coffee at night, my truck took me there. I have made many great memories with this truck, and I believe there are many more to go. One of my fondest memories was when Italy won the world cup in 2006, and as soon as they did and it was time to celebrate, 25 Guido's hopped into the bed of the pick up truck and we drove up and down Bloomfield waving flags for hours.

However, even though I love this truck more than most people, I believe I am finally ready to let my side kick and backup Truck that I have owned for the last 15 years go.
Where it all began; I bought this Ford beauty down at a used car lot in Newark NJ back in 2004 right on Broadway near the McDonalds. I got it from the lot as the truck was traded in for a newer vehicle, and it belonged to a Landscaper who lived in English NJ before me. So, I believe I am the 3rd owner. This truck has let me down but once in all the years I had it, and it was nothing more than a fuse that went. Replaced it and got it right back on the road.
When I purchased the truck, I got the truck with what I believe was 121,000 miles on it at the time, and there are now 152,000 miles on it. That is 32,000 miles in 14 years. That is because like I said, this truck has always been my side kick and back up vehicle. I would drive it when I had to do side work for my plumbing jobs when I was younger, to camping trips in Sussex county NJ on the weekends, when I would go to car shows on the weekend, or god forbid, if my main car broke down.
There are no major problems or damage to the truck, but it will need work to get it running and on the road again because she has sat for to long now. And that is my first and main reasons for selling this truck. If it sits for much longer, then it will just go to waste, and I hate to see that happen. Second, I also have two other cars, so I need the space. I am the middle of restoring my 1987 Chevy Balzer, and that is running again, so I need to part with one of the two, and I might as well let this go because I feel like I have had my time with her.

So, I will go over the pros and cons of this truck, and what it will take to truly make her a daily driver and road worthy again.
Pros ----

* 1987 Ford F-150 with a clean NJ Title in Hand (3rd owner for over 14 years)

* The Truck has a true blue 153,000 miles on it.

* Engine is a 300ci - 4.9 liter - Straight six engine with lots of power (no knocks, no smoke, great power and torque)

* Transmission is a 3 speed with overdrive (so basically 4 speed) on the floor. (shifts well - No grinding and reverse works fine)

* Has a New Clutch with maybe 5,000 miles on it if that

* New u-joints were put in when we removed the drive shaft to install the new clutch.

* Has a Newer Radiator (Maybe 10,000 miles on this radiator, if that)

* Has a Brand-new Heating core. (Luckily, there is an access panel behind the glove box that allows you to change them fairly easily, just like some older broncos, without taking out the whole dash.)

*Has a newer braking booster (maybe 10,000 miles on it, as these are a common thing to go in fords)

* Truck has front disk brakes, and rear drums breaks. (The rear Drums and cylinders were completely rebuilt.)

* This truck also, for whatever reason, has the XLT package, even thought it is not on the title as on XLT. It has
a factory ac in it, and vent windows in the doors, and the back windows slides open also.

*Truck has factory Dual gas tanks also!! Hit a switch and you have a reserve tank and you can go another 1000 miles.

* This truck is truly unmolested, and all original.

*The person who has maintained this truck over the last 14 years, my father, is a certified diesel mechanic who has worked on cars, trucks, and big rigs all his whole life. The man has 44 years' experience fixing cars and trucks, so it was always taken care of by someone who knows what they are doing.

*Truck Qualifies for QQ plates, and they quoted me at 420 dollars a year as my second vehicle with historic insurance.

* Truck has brand new Ignition Switch and Starter solenoid (Someone tried to rob my truck out of my driveway back in 2011, but the idiot never got away with it. All they did was try to turn the ignition without a key until they broke everything, and it all had to be replaced. I believe it was a local kid want to take it for a joy ride.)

NOW, for the CONS, and what it will really take to get this truck up and running again.

* Truck will not start because I believe because both fuel pumps went bad. I will be honest, and the reserve one never worked, and I never needed it. So, it is either the main one, or the fuel regulator where both pumps meet and then get sent to the engine. Once you figure this out - THE TRUCK WILL RUN AND DRIVE! There truly is nothing else that would need to be done to get this truck running and driving.
This truck was my daily driver when I parked it two years ago. It has just sat for to long now, and like I said before, that is why I am selling it. I don't want to see it go to waste. However, if you want a really nice driver that is safe, update, reliable, and won't get you pulled over, this is the rest.

*Tuck Needs a windshield. (has been broken for a few years) Does not leaks, and does not impair vision, but need to get done.

* Truck needs a Muffler! (It is not to loud because it is a straight six engine, but I believe a cat back exhaust would be needed to make it nice and quiet. The guy who has it before me installed a performance pipe of some sort, so the truck would look like it had duel exhaust, but it fell off over the years. I don't believe the manifold leaks in any way, but I have not checked in a long time.)

* Truck needs a seat! (The bench seat does work and does fold up, so you can get to whatever equipment you have behind the seat, but the cushioning it shot. The springs are all intact and do not jab me in the a**, so it might even be able to be reupholstered.)

* Truck Needs some body work! (I will say; besides some surface rust, this is the least beat up Ford F-150 or Broncos that you might ever see. It is easily salvageable. The Cock Pit is strong and the floors, and corners of the door's jams are solid, which you never see. But wheel wells have a few bubbles and there are one or two small holes in the bed. Like I said, easily fixable, and no where near what most would call a rust bucket. If you sand the hood and the roof, which are always the first to go because of wind reduction when we drive and heat from the engine cooking the paint, you might be able to drive the truck as it. There are a lot of dents and dings on it though from when I use to do my moonlight jobs in my plumbing days, and probably when I use to drive home with one eye open from NY city at night, if you know what I mean, but there is NO MAJOR DAMAGE OR ACCIDENTS). ( I was in only accident in the truck in 2014, and I pushed in a girls bumper on her VW who break checked me on purpose, pure case of road rage, but nothing happened to my truck besides the bumped being scuffed in the front )

* Dash board is ok, but minor crack on passenger side. Crack seal and touch up paint would be fine.

* One Vacuum valve need to be replaced. It is right in front and on top of the engine, so it is an easy fix.

* AC never worked. (Though it is a factory AC, and when you hit the button the compressor did turn on, it never blew cold. I never tired fixing it, because not one car out of the 20 that I have owned has ever had AC that worked, so I just sweat realizing a long time ago that I am cursed by the good Lord with non-working ACs in my cars.) Sweating is good for your health anyway.

* Truck needs a new headlight fixture on the left side.

* Tires do hold air, but they are old.

* I have the ignition key, but the keys to lock the doors are currently lost in my garage. My dad lost them in the pile of ford keys from all the other 14 ford trucks I have owned in the past. I should be able to find them by the time the truck is sold. if not, I will lower the price.

SO! I hope I have described the Legendary Italian Stallion F-150 to you my friends as best as I could. If you read all this and says, "Wow, this guy really does talk and write a lot" now you know why I chose to become a writer for a living, and plan on selling a million copies of all my books within the next year.
I wish more than anything, that this truck finds someone that can appreciate as much as I have, and it goes to a good home. This truck has character and ba**s, and it would make a great father and son project, or even a business vehicle. When I am driving down the highway in this truck, as beat up as it is, people would always beep at me and give me a thumbs up, or the middle finger if they didn't like Italians, and I would always smile and do the same in return. You give me thumbs up, I smile and wave. You give me the finger, I smile and give you the Italian Salute (place your left hand on your right arm in the center, and raise your right arm in an aggressive manner and say "Van Fancoolo")
Like I said, the Truck needs some work, but this is one that is worth saving. A fuel pump, some bondo and a flat back spray can paint job, and a new windshield, and a seat cover, this truck will be able to take you to the moon and back.

My truck is located in Little Italy New Jersey, Not NY, so it is Nutley NJ 07110. Give me a call and maybe we can make a deal. I am asking 1,000 grand cash for the truck, or best reasonable offer. The more Italian you are, the better the price will be.

NO, I will not take 500 for scrap. I will just keep it for that. Do not offend me, unless you want to meet Rocky Balboa in Person. The more of a good person you are, the more of a reasonable price you will get as long as you talk to me like a man. I am willing to work with anyone, as long as they are nice.
I want to see this truck live on with someone else, as I have already immortalized it on the cover of my book. Hey, and the more books I sell, the more this Truck will be worth in the future, so it might even be an investment for you.
In the words of the great God Father, "I am going to make him an offer that he can't refuse", so come and grab what I am offering. Be well my friends, and I hope to hear from you soon. God Bless America and never forget to Live La Vita Bella, Your Boy, Gennaro
P>S>. Truck is being sold as is and I am sorry I can not offer a warrant, though I will give you my word. I dont sell lemons. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges if the Truck should it be purchased out of state. The payment it cash only, with a minimum deposit of 100$ by paypal within 24 hours of auction ending, non refundable. Thank you again,.
